Meet Dr. Meade

Dr. Amanda Meade, D.D.S.
Dr. Amanda has always considered the Appalachian Mountains home. She grew up in a small town in Southwest Virginia about 2.5 hours north of Asheville. After graduating summa cum laude from the University of Virginia's College at Wise in 2008 with a bachelor's degree in biology, she received her DDS from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2012.
She has since practiced 2 years in public health dentistry in rural Virginia, spent time in private practice in both Virginia and North Carolina, as well as taught dental, dental hygiene, and dental assisting students at local clinics and community college programs. Amanda is a member of the American Dental Association, the North Carolina Dental Socitey, and the Buncombe County Dental Society.
In her free time, Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband and pets as well as cooking, pottery, music, and any outdoor activity. She has been in Asheville for 3 years, has loved exploring the area, and could not think of a better place to call home.
