Exceptional Family Dentistry
- We take the time to get to know our patients and make them feel at home.
Updated April 3, 2020
In the interest of protecting our patients and staff from the spread of the COVID-19 virus, we have discontinued seeing emergency appointments in our office. This decision was made based on: our close proximity to Mission Hospital, the number of new cases of COVID-19 that have developed locally and our inability to determine who has been exposed.
Thank you for your understanding and we wish everyone the best during these difficult times.
- Dr. Leslie Wessinger
Office Closed Due To Coronavirus (COVID-19)
Due to the recent events related to the Caronavirus and recommendations form the North Carolina Dental Board, American Dental Association, CDC, CMS and President Trump, we will be closing our dental office begining March 18, 2020. We will remain closed until further notice.
If you have a dental emergency while we are closed, call our main number at 828-216-9531. All lines have been redirected to our after-hours phone and we return your call as quickly as we can.
During these difficult times, we wish everyone well and look forward to seeing our patients soon.
Thank you - Dr. Leslie Wessinger

“I was so nervous when I first went to see Dr. Leslie, and when I was done, I knew I had found the dentist for me. She was so gentle and caring that I felt like I was visiting with a friend.”
“Dr. Leslie was very helpful. I didn’t know if I was going to be able to get the treatment I needed, and she worked with my medicaid plan to make sure I was taken care of. Bless you, Dr. Leslie.”
Cheryl and Daughter Katie
"Dr. Leslie is the first dentist that my daughter Katie liked. They joked and laughed, and when we got home, Katie asked me when she could go back and visit Dr. Leslie."
“I admit it has been a long time since I visited the dentist, and I was very nervous after my last experience many years ago. Dr. Leslie put me at ease within a few short minutes of meeting her, and now I can’t imagine having a better dentist.”
We offer comprehensive family dental services. Typical preventative visits include a cleaning and polishing, full oral exam, x-rays once per year, fluoride and periodontal probing. There will also be plenty of time to talk with Dr. Leslie about any dental needs and/or concerns.
When it comes to patient safety, Dr. Wessinger understands that only diligence and consistent excellence will suffice. We want to assure our patients that we take every step necessary to either meet or exceed health and safety standards set for dental offices.
